"The Midstate Regional EMS Council sponsors a Critical Incident Stress Management Team. The Midstate CISM Team is available 24/7, 365 days to respond to assist first responders in their time of need after stressful incidents."

Who Are We?

  • ·Peer mentors from Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, 9-1-1, and mental health professionals
  • ·Trained in helping first responders cope with stressors from critical incidents
  • ·Provide defusing and debriefing sessions
  • ·Create safe forums to reduce burnout and suicide risk
  • ·Offer direct mental health intervention with grief and trauma counseling
  • ·Provide referrals to other mental health resources
