Inductees to the EMS Memorial will be honored next week in Albany. May 19th at 11:00. All EMSers are welcome to attend. If you are planning on attending with a EMS vehicle and would like to show it off at the memorial you must contact Donna Johnson at 518 402-0996 to confirm.

Time is running out to get your tickets for two great upcoming EMS events. The annual Midstate Awards Banquet  May 21st and the best little Trauma Teaching Day June 4th. Banquet tickets are available at Resource or from Chris 738-8351 and for the Trauma teaching Day call Sharon at STEMC 798-8127

Faxton-St Luke’s will be hosting a 12 lead class April 21st 19:00 to 21:00 at the St Luke’s Home. Please be their guest at this informative learning experience. Hors D’ Oeuvres and beverages will be provided. This is a great opportunity to brush up on your 12 lead skills. All are welcome please RSVP to Resource at 624-4534.

Tickets are available for the Midstate  Annual EMS Awards Banquet being held May 21, 2010 at the Vernon Downs Casino and resort. Tickets may be purchased at Resource, the EMS office or by sending a check and SASE to Chris at 2521 Sunset Ave Utica NY 13502. Tickets are $15 and special room rates of $79 are available from Vernon Downs. Please be sure to get all your award nominations into us no later than May 1st. Any questions please contact us.

On Monday March 15th all Midstate Ambulance Agencies are invited to participate in the funeral procession for past REMSCO Chair and West Winfield member Stan Lonchek. Line up will begin at 09:00 at the West Winfield Municipal Parking Lot located behind the Post Office. Agencies wishing to send a rig please advise Pablo Davis at (315) 794-4282.
