Well another year has passed us by. 2009 has seen some ups and some downs. I believe the ups have outweighed the downs. Twenty ten will present many new challenges for us. Fortunately,historically we Midstate people have turned those challenges into success stories. I trust 2010 will be no different. The Oneida County H1N1 Clinic being held at the training center for Oneida County Emergency Service providers has been changed to Tuesday December 22,2009 06:00 to 21:00. No appointment necessary.

The Midstate REMSCO has scheduled a public hearing where they will hear witness, receive written statements, ask questions and accept testimony in any form that will lead credibility to the hearing and ultimate determination of need for the Boonville Ambulance to provide ambulance service. Forestport Fire Station, 11965 River Road, Forestport NY 13338 December 14th 2009  at 7 pm. Yesterday we received word the DOH has not contracted to print PCR’s. Statewide there are a minimal number available. We will be giving out PCR’s spareingly to ALSFR and Ambulances. BLSFR and BLS Ambulances will be given a photocopy from resource that should be kept with your records. It is important to conserve what we have and give a good report to the transporting ambulance in lieu of the pink copy. We are working with the DOH and will keep you informed.
